April 15, 2006 - XMG International Music Conference
We have been accepted to perform at the XMG International Music Conference in Salt Lake City, UT. With major and independent labels attending, this three day conference will give us the opportunity to network with various record companies. This event will also be open to the public, so if you live near the area or are planning on road tripping out there, you can buy tickets directly from us. More details will be posted as soon as we get them. We also have some new desktop wallpapers and buddy icons under the Media section. Download them today and help spread the word. April 9, 2006 - First Live Show Announced
We have confirmed our first show. It will be a battle of the bands during UU Hour at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and we are slated to play last on the bill. More details can be found under the Live section. We have been working on some rockin' new material so make sure you come out to the show and join the party...and bring a lot of movement clothes, a.k.a. jazz shoes, dance belts, lycras, and all.
March 23, 2006 - Free CDs available at select locations
XMG International has contacted us regarding a possible performance at the XMG Music Conference in Salt Lake City, UT. Our demo has been submitted for review and if we are among the 200 acts selected to perform, we will be able to play at the Hard Rock Cafe in May. Nothing is for certain yet, but we’ve got our fingers crossed. We have also left some of our CDs at various record stores to help spread the word. March 11, 2006 - Foreign Hand EP Released
The CDs have finally arrived. So hurry and get your copy now and put it on your iPod. If you want the artwork on your iPod, go to our music section and drag and drop the cover into the song album artwork placeholder in iTunes. When your iPod is connected to your computer, make sure you check the box stating "Display Album Artwork On Your iPod". The Demo CD can be purchased at our online store. The 2005 World Windsurfing Tour DVD is also finished. It features "Gala Doors" and "Seine Signals" and will be available at www.high.tv later this month. Lastly, photos from the Demo sessions in Chicago are now posted.
February 12, 2006 - Welcome to the new website
Welcome to the new website for Foreign Hand. New songs will still be available on purevolume, but this will be the main site for all of our news and updates. We've recently been contacted by a production company who showed some interest in our music. Our songs will be featured in an upcoming documentary on the 2005 World Windsurfing Tour. We are in the midst of negotiating all the details, but hopefully we will get the contract signed soon. If you guys are interested in checking us out on the new DVD please visit www.high.tv. As for our demo, the final mixes are done and all the artwork has been submitted. They are currently being printed and should become available within the next few weeks.
